Hedwig and the Angry Inch

I got so excited when I got the chance to create illustrations for the whole 2017/2018 Hart House Theatre season. The first show was going to be on stage on September 2017 was Hedwig and the Angry Inch.

The Crucible

The Crucible was another powerful Hart House theatre play that I created an illustration for following the season colour pallet and style. The back of a teenage girl carrying a noose symbolize of how villain can rise from innocence in the world of superstition and unfounded belief.

Titus Andronicus

Titus Andronicus, one of the Shakespeare’s bloodiest tragedy was another show of 2017/2018 Hart House Theatre season which I have to create illustration for. I chose one of the most tragic scenes of the play that shows standing Lavinia on a tree root with her tongue and her hands cut off.

The illustration definitely shows the nature of this weekly event that happening on Thursdays. Have a cup of tea and do some fun crafty like knitting a hat or else. The warm yellow and orange on a light brown background invites audience to a calm creative gathering that is cozy and joyful no matter if you chill with others or just seat by yourself and listen to everyone's chit chat white creating some craft.
